Product variants of Veritas Backup Exec 22 Agent

Agent for Applications and Databases 

The Agent for Applications and Databases supports Exchange, Active Directory, SQL, SharePoint, Oracle and Enterprise Vault. It enables backup during operation and granular recovery of applications and databases. A separate agent is required to access each application or database, even if the underlying Server is already backed up with Backup Exec.

Agent for Linux Server

The agent for Linux enables the backup of Linux servers in the network. A license is required for each Server to be backed up.

Agent for VMware and Hyper-V

The agent for VMware and Hyper-V offers the backup of virtualized environments under VMware and Hyper-V. The agent is licensed per physical host and backs up both the host and all virtual machines on it.

Agent for Windows Server

The agent for Windows systems (AWS) can be used to back up additional Windows-Server. A license is required for each additional Server to be backed up.
